 SASC Players Enjoy a Night with
Ronaldo!
On August 4th, 2010, soccer clubs Real Madrid and Club
America met each other in an International match at Candlestick Park in San
Francisco. Several SASC players had the opportunity of a lifetime, working the
sidelines at the international friendly.

late August with information on practice and game

 Scorpions '99 Capture
Soccer by the Bay Title
SASC Scorpions 99 won their first tournament
of the fall season, by winning all four games in the Socer by th eBay
Tournament. The Scorpions took a thrilling 4-3 decision over the Alpine Eagles
in the Championship game.

 TopGun '97 Win Magic
Cup
TopGun 97 took first place at the Magic Cup Tournament in Morgan
Hill, the weekend of August 28th & 29th. The U13 ladies particpated in the
Gold Division, winning every game over weekend event, then won a thrilling
come-from-behind finale to bring home the tournament championship.

 Lightning '97 Take Soccer by the Bay Title
Sunnyvale
Alliance was well represented at the Soccer by the Bay Tournament this past
weekend. SASC Lightning 97 won their first tournament of the fall season, with
a sensational 3-0 victory over the San Mateo Contenders U13 Boys final.

Update
Information regarding the CYSA California Soccer League (CCSL)
is beginning to trickle in. The first games will be played is Saturday,
September 11th.

Results
After 2 weeks of U9 boys tryouts we are happy to announce a
new boys team in this age group. Congratulations to all the boys who attended
the tryouts, the ability level and number of participants was very
impressive.
